Who are we?
Since our establishment in 1983 it has been and continues to be our prime purpose to educate fashiondesigners with a thorough technical/practical foundation and competence in the creative processes.
The program in Fashion Design is based on 3 fundamental pillars: Design, pattern making and craftsmanship.

I en tid med stigende akademisering af de offentlige uddannelser, vægter vi fortsat et meget højt niveau af praksis og manuelle øvelser inden de studerende introduceres til digitale redskaber. Det giver en helt anden faglig tyngde, læring og viden at man gennemgår mønsterkonstruktion og arbejder med teknikker manuelt. Vi bidrager til at man beholder konstruktions- og håndværksmæssig ekspertise i Danmark og Norden og kvaliteten af undervisningen samt vore dimittender gør at skolen har eksisteret i over 40 år.

In an age of rising academization of the public creative educational programs we still value a very high level of practical and manual exercises, before the students are introduced to digital tools. It provides a whole other professional level of knowledge that patternmaking and testing of techniques is done manually. We contribute to maintaining the expertise of patternmaking and craftmanship in Denmark and the Nordic Countries and the quality of our program and graduates ensures our ongoing history of more than 40 years now.

The Academy is fully equipped with machines and tools at your disposal for your projects.

Alongside the main-programs we continuously offer Master-classes and short courses reflecting our tradition for a high professional level.
We often look abroad to find exciting courses and collaborations. Here are some examples of earlier courses just to mention a few: Glovemaking, 3-D Shaping / Draping beginner and advanced, Upcycling of fur, Art of the furrier, Embroidery. Masterclasses and short courses are open for all. New Masterclasses and short courses will be announced in due course
